Geek Quote of the Day

Cyberspace. A consensual hallucination experienced daily by billions of legitimate operators, in every nation, by children being taught mathematical concepts… A graphic representation of data abstracted from the banks of every computer in the human system. - Neuromancer by William Gibson, 1984.

Geek Quote of the Day

30 Jul 2008 No Comment  66 views

Though here at journey’s end I lie
in darkness buried deep,
beyond all towers strong and high,
beyond all mountains steep,
above all shadows rides the Sun
and Stars for ever dwell:
I will not say the Day is done,
nor bid the Stars farewell.

- The Return of the King by J. R. R. Tolkien, 1954.
