Started almost a decade ago, “This Day in Geek History” is a recap of all the day’s historical events in the fields of computers, culture, hacking, software, and technology. The list has been researched and compiled with loving care to include most import moments that have shaped Geek culture down the centuries.
The Great Geek Manual also features original humor, reviews, and geek culture commentary.
I’m your host, Pipedreamergrey. I’m a twenty-something white male living in Michigan who enjoys all things Geek, including anime, comics, computers, programming, renaissance faires, roleplaying games, video games, etc. Most of my free time is spent online, reading or nursing my hardcore MMORPG addiction. I started this blog with the help of the good people over at Host Color in order to reach a larger audience with my daily history compilation after years of using Livejournal.
