Though this top secret memo welcoming Marvel Entertainment to the Disney family is purely conjecture, there is no doubt in my mind that the results of this acquisition are going to be both unfortunate and hilarious.

Is this Microsoft’s mis-guided attempt at humor, or just the honest sentiment of some harried employee?

Exactly my reaction. Heard about the merger through Google Reader. Researched the merger via Google Search. Voiced my opinion via Orkut and Google Groups. Net gain for Microsoft? Zero.
