I absolutely love Don Hertzfeldt’s shorts, and this one is no exception. It’s much funnier, though, when you realize that the characters are all talking gibberish. The language is neither German nor Dutch, as most people assume the first time they see it.

You know, when you really think about it, the whole concept of Santa is seriously creepy. I mean, he’s a fat man who dresses up and, after a year of judging you from afar, invades your home to accept your offering of cookies and milk. Then, he either leaves a reward or punishment in your stockings.

Is there even such a thing as a real life girl too into cosplay? Still, I love how they portray the girl’s decent into more and more eccentric costumes. Slave Leia, Leia, Elektra, Manga Girl, Larp Barbarian, Furry… that really ought to be the universal standard crazy-to-hot ratio scale. I highly approve.
