Alright, I’m not a huge Radcliffe fan, but the man gained a bit of geek cred for singing “The Elements” during an appearance on The Graham Norton Show Friday. I wouldn’t have even guess he knew who Tom Lehrer was. Maybe now I won’t feel so guilty standing in line for the movie with all those squealing tweens this Friday.

… or not.

During a question and answer session at the Savannah Film Festival, Ian McKellen reenacts his experience filming the Balrog scene from Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. It’s great to see that even after all his successes through the years, McKellen can still make fun of himself.

I would sooo be in line on opening night for this! Too bad it’s fake. But who knows what Lucas’ money-grubbing attention whoring will unleash in the future? Let’s all just keep our fingers crossed.
