Seriously. If the whole thing isn’t a dream, how you explain the need for the on-going exposition? Of course, it really doesn’t matter. Nolan’s genius is that all these unanswered questions mean that film students are going to be subjected to this film for decades to come.

I know I should be over this by now, buuut… no. The very end of this one cracks me up. Would it kill Lucas to offer an apology just once.
