Art

  • PlanetSurfer presents a gallery of the Top 10 Incredible Robot Art Creations.

Literature

  • Booklist Online has compiled a list of the Top 10 SF/Fantasy for Youth: 2008. The great things about these lists, is that, being in my twenties, I’ve never heard of any these books… of course that doesn’t mean that I’m above check them out now that I have.
  • Free Fiction: “Nano Comes to Clifford Falls” by Nancy Kress is on offer over at Fantasy Book Spot.
  • Free Fiction: “Not Enough Stars in the Night” by Brendan DuBois is available at Cosmos.

  • The Happy Fun Pundit makes some really good points in Top 10 Things I Hate About Star Trek.
  • I loves me a good rant, and the Sci-Fi Channel is among my favorite targets. Sclerotic-rings has recently posted just such a rant.
  • Sy Fy Portal lists Ten Forward: The Most Unjustly Cancelled Series This Decade. Firefly comes in at number one, which shows good judgment, which is entirely negated when Angel is listed as number two.
