It’s Valentine’s Day! As if any American could possibly overlook that little fact in the midst of the first great marketing bananza of the year. Still, we’re all good consumer whores, so why not play along?
Starting tomorrow, it’ll be back to rationing the candy until the next holiday! (Rationalizing that, because it’s a gift, it’s exempt from all New Year’s resolutions, of course.) So, I thought I’d drop a few lasting morsels, all made courtesy of The Crytogram. I know that I mixed Diane Lane allusions with Harry Potter references, but what the heck? It’s a made-up holiday anyway.
