Microsoft has announced that Halo 3 for Xbox 360 is expected to be on store shelves September 25. Early predictions are that sales of Halo 3 will surpass Halo 2’s, which reached $125 million within the first 24 hours of its release in 2004.
According to Microsoft, Halo 3 will be available in three versions:
- Standard – no frills edition for $59.99
- Limited – collectors edition including features about the making of the game for $69.99
- Legendary edition – includes a large metal helmet that looks like Master Chief’s for $129.99
