Three films open in theaters this Friday, April 25th. The fact that both a Rob Schneider film and a Harold and Kumar film are being released on the same day may well be one of the signs of the apocalypse… but it definitely means that there will be slim box office pickin’s this weekend.

Baby Mama (Comedy) A successful, single businesswoman who dreams of having a baby discovers she is infertile and hires a working class woman to be her unlikely surrogate. (PG-13)
Big Stan (Comedy) A weak con man panics when he learns he’s going to prison for fraud. He hires a mysterious martial arts guru who helps transform him into a martial arts expert who can fight off inmates who want to hurt or love him.
Deception (Thriller) An accountant is introduced to a mysterious sex club known as The List by his lawyer friend. But in this new world, he soon becomes the prime suspect in a woman’s disappearance and a multi-million dollar heist. (R)
Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanemo Bay (Comedy) Follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam. (R)

The World Ends With You, tops the list of games released this week. The anime-inspired game is set in modern day Tokyo and was produced by the same team as Kingdom Hearts. So far, it has been reviewed favorably, but if it follows in the footsteps of Kingdom Hearts too closely, it may not be the hotest pick for the college-age crowd.
