Tim Burton’s “stitch punk” animated feature. In it, nine rag dolls struggle amid a post-apocalyptic landscape to survive the onslaught of mechanized monsters. In theory, it should be spectacular. In practice, it’s all a bit anti-climactic.

For the next hour and half, audiences are treated to a series of shots of her almost-but-not-quite popping out of her clothing in just such a way as to distract from the complete lack of a compelling plot.
