It’s Universal Day of the Jedi, and, as with any holiday, it’s important to remember what this special day is really all about. And this holiday is all about one thing: commercial whoring, and how! Disney is the latest to jump on the band wagon.
Disney has unveiled four new exclusive maquettes (collectibles) along with a new advertising campaign to promote their annual Star Wars Weekends at Disney-MGM Studios in Florida in June. The advertising campaign features a series of six signs that will be appearing in Orlando International Airport this summer. Unfortunately, the collection is on display exclusively at the airport and not for sale.
Check out the other five posters, including an awesome image of Yoda collecting his baggage, at StarWars.com.
