Wizards of the Coast has posted a short video tribute to Gary, in which designers and authors of the D&D game.
There has also been an excess of tribute videos posted to YouTube.
A number of comics have paid tribute as well, including Dork Towers, Goblins, GU Comics, and The Order of the Stick.
Even ICanHasCheezBurger got in on the game.

Of course, the news of his death was reported (very colorfully, in some cases) by a wide range of sources, including: Ain’t it Cool News, BBC, BoingBoing, The Colbert Report, CNET, Gamespy, IGN, The Morning News, MSN Entertainment, The New York Times, NPR: Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me!, Salon, Slashdot, and Wired.
