This week’s notable release is the Lego Batman: The Video Game, and, since the first LEGO Star Wars turned out to be so playable for adults as well as kids, it’s also probably the hottest pick of the week.

Monday, September 22

    Hell’s Kitchen (PC)
    Based on the popular television series.

    Kirby Super Star Ultra (DS)
    Kirby Super Star Ultra features new graphics, fully rendered animated cutscenes, and new game modes.

    Mega Man 9 (Wiiware)
    The Original 2D classic Mega Man returns in Mega Man 9.

    My Little Pony Pinkie Pie’s Party (DS)

    Nancy Drew: The Hidden Staircase (DS)
    An interactive mystery game based on the Nancy Drew series.

    SimCity Creator (DS, Wii)
    The latest in the long SimCity franchise.

    Wario Land: Shake It! (Wii)
    Shake the Wii Remote to help Wario take down his enemies, empty bags of treasure, or cause earthquakes in Wario Land: Shake It!

    Zoo Hospital (Wii)

A simulation/pet-simulator hybrid which casts players in the role of zoo manager.

Tuesday, September 23

    A hip-hop dancing game.

    Barbie Fashion Show: Eye for Style (DS, PC)

    Brain Quest Grades 5 & 6 (DS)

    Brothers in Arms Hell’s Highway (PS3, X360)
    Ubisoft brings the third installment of their historic shooter series, Brothers in Arms, to the the Xbox 360. Also available in a Limited Edition.

    Brothers in Arms: Double Time (Wii)
    Another installment in the first-person shooting game that features Wii Remote compatibility.

    Buzz! Master Quiz (PSP)
    A puzzle game.

    BUZZ! Quiz TV (PS3)
    A puzzle game.

    Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2009 (PS2, PS3, Wii, X360)
    A big-game hunting simulation game.

    Dark Horizon (PC)
    Dark Horizon is a space combat simulation featuring 22 missions, full ship customization, and several modes of combat.

    Dinosaur King (DS)

    Disgaea DS (DS)
    Dragon Ball Z: Trilogy (PS2)

    Everlight (PC)
    Join Melvin as he explores a world filled with magic and fairies in Everlight.

    Hi! HamTaro Ham-Ham Challenge (DS)

    King’s Bounty: The Legend (PC)
    King’s Bounty: The Legend is an adventure game with tactical turn-based battles and role-playing elements.

    Lego Batman (DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, X360)
    Lego Batman will follow the style of Traveller’s Tales Lego Star Wars games, but in the comic-book universe of Batman.

    Line Rider 2: Unbound (PC)
    Line Rider lets you draw lines and construct tracks for a virtual sledder to zip along on…until he wipes out.

    Sid Meier’s Civilization IV: Colonization (PC)
    Sid Meier brings back his celebrated New World conquest sim as a stand-alone Civilization IV spinoff, due this fall.

    Shaun the Sheep (DS)

    The Price is Right (PC)
    The Settlers: Rise of an Empire Gold Edition (PC)

    Time Hollow (DS)

    Twin Strike: Operation Thunder (Wii)

    Warriors Orochi 2 (PS2, X360)

    Warriors Orochi returns with a lineup of more than 90 playable characters from both franchises, including Samurai Warriors 2 Xtreme Legends, plus new characters from Chinese and Japanese history.

    Mega Man 9 (PSN)
    The Original 2D classic Mega Man returns in Mega Man 9.

    Wipeout HD (PS3)
    Wipeout comes to the PS3 with a selection of revamped tracks from previous Wipeout games and SIXAXIS control.
